EP!C’s group homes provide a comfortable home environment where people are encouraged to be as independent as possible while receiving full-time care and support from EP!C staff. Residents are able to relax in the living room and kitchen, socialize with other residents, or pursue hobbies and interest on their own.

We are seeking volunteers to lead regular activities at our group homes, creating enriching experiences and meaningful opportunities for the people we serve to connect with members of the community. Activities may include board game nights, arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, and more. Scheduling and activity options are flexible. We simply need volunteers who are engaged, supportive, and committed to the community we serve.

These activities would take place on the weekends any time from 8am-4pm.

EP!C's Community Day Services Program works to ensure each participant enjoys a productive, enjoyable day while building skills to enrich their lives. Looking for a rewarding way to give back? As a volunteer with this program, you’ll play a vital role in creating joyful, purposeful days for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist staff in planning and leading a variety of hands-on activities, from arts and crafts to music, games, basic life skills training, and community outings. Each day brings opportunities to connect, laugh, and help participants build confidence, independence, and meaningful relationships. No special experience is needed, just patience, compassion, and a willingness to make someone’s day brighter. Whether you're volunteering once a week or once a month, your presence makes a real difference.

This opportunity is ongoing, with flexible hours from Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 1:00 pm. 

This position could require heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time. 

EP!C’s Educational Services Program helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build skills, explore interests, and gain knowledge through engaging, productive, and therapeutic day programming. Through a variety of educational opportunities, we work to create an environment where every individual has the support and encouragement they need to thrive.

We invite volunteers to share a special interest, skill, or area of expertise by leading one or more educational sessions. Opportunities are available Monday through Friday mornings and can be tailored to your availability and interests. You may choose to facilitate an ongoing activity, such as a book club, or lead a one-time session, such as a cooking class, art project, or other hands-on learning experience.

Volunteers who are over the age of 17 and plan to volunteer more than once are required to complete a background check.

EP!C's Host Home program supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by connecting them with welcoming homes that encourage independence and community involvement. As part of the program, we offer fun, enriching trips that give individuals the opportunity to explore and experience travel in new and exciting ways.

We’re seeking active volunteers to assist on these outings as an extra set of hands. EP!C will pay for all necessary travel expenses with the understanding that you will provide help, and create a respectful, inclusive experience for the people we serve. 

This opportunity involves significant walking and may include occasional heavy lifting.

Every Thursday EP!C holds Power Teams for our individuals that are living and are a part of our host homes program. We are always looking for new ideas of things to do during power teams. If you have an idea of an activity that you would be interested in leading then this is the volunteer opportunity for you. 

Power teams run from 3pm to around 6 or 7pm and we can provide all supplies needed.
